1. See live music at Temple Bar 

Temple Bar is an area of Dublin known as the cultural quarter, with charming cobblestone streets and lively restaurants and cafes. You will often find live music on at the popular Temple Bar pub. 

2. Join the St Patrick's Day parade

St Patrick's Day is on 17th March every year. The parade features street performers and world-class entertainment and is definitely not to be missed. 

3. Watch the Six Nations Rugby tournament 

The Six Nations is a highlight on the Irish calendar. You can see home games at Croke Park. 

4. Take part in the UCD Festival

The UCD Festival celebrated its inaugural year on 18th June 2016. Open to all, it included tours, talks, concerts and picnics on campus at UCD.

Dublin Zoo, located in the Phoenix Park, is one of the most popular attractions in Ireland. The 70-acre park has more than 600 animals and is a wonderful day out for everyone. 

6. Enjoy a day at the National Gallery

The National Gallery of Ireland has more than 2,500 paintings and some 10,000 works in other media such as watercolours, drawings, prints and sculpture. It's located in the heart of Dublin and is free to enter.
