Robin's UCD graduation story

UCD student Robin graduating

Zimbabwe is nearly 13,000 kilometres away from Ireland, but that didn’t stop Robin from wanting to begin the study experience of a lifetime halfway around the world. Robin started his journey at the International Study Centre. Four years later, he successfully graduated with a degree in Sports and Exercise Management from University College Dublin.

Reflecting about his time studying in Ireland, Robin shared: “My skills I have gained from UCD have made me who I am today and will set me in good stead for what I hope is a positive and successful future.”

International graduates from UCD have exciting career opportunities in Ireland. With a post-study work visa, you can look for employment for up to one year after you graduate and stay as long as you are working for that company. Robin plans to take advantage of this. He said: “Now that I have graduated I plan to start working immediately. I would like to stay in Ireland and I have made great contacts here through my years of studying.”
