Apply through an agent
If you are applying through a local agent, please contact them for an application form. When you have completed and sent your application we will contact your agent to discuss what documents you need in support of your application and advise how to send them to us.
Once you confirm your offer at the University College Dublin International Study Centre, the next step is to apply for a visa if you require one. Find out if you need a visa to study in Ireland on the Department of Foreign Affairs website.
Once you have received your confirmation of study and your visa you can go on line to book your appointment with Immigration Registration.
We would advise booking appointments for mid-October (September intake) and mid-February (January intake). This will give you enough time to set-up bank accounts and resolve any possible accommodation issues. The advantage of booking early is that the appointments fill up fast and if you wait until you arrive to book your appointment there could be waiting list of up to three months. This can then cause delays getting your re-entry visa and prevent you from going home over the December holidays (September intake).
You can book your appointment up to 9 weeks in advance.
Please note: If you are under 18 (and will not be turning 18 before the date of the next available appointment) you will not need to complete this step as it will be arranged by the International Study Centre upon your arrival.
